Southern Highbush variety. Summer Blue has delicious medium dark blue fruit with a red back. Ideal for warm climates as they require low chill hours for bud initiation. Early flowering means there is a risk of crop loss due to frost damage. Fruits on second year wood. Ripening from early December and again in March. To ensure the best flavour leave fruit on bush for 7-10 days after turning blue. 2m x 1.5m
