Description

"Freckles" is a nice twist on the standard purple viola.  Plants form a mound of large glossy heart-shaped leaves and are covered with the cheerful little white flowers with purple freckles in spring right through to autumn. Violas are super easy to grow and tolerant of most soil types. They are perfect for a partially shaded position and once established multiply quickly. They are very versatile and excellent as a groundcover under shrubs or trees, in borders and rockeries, in baskets and can even be used in containers and tubs.
