A selected, non thorny form. It forms a vigorous, medium sized, dense headed tree flowering profusly in late spring. Attractive autumn foliage in shades of orange through to scarlet red. Highly praised as an ornamental and commonly planted as a street tree. Deciduous. 6 x 4m.
