Sea Holly features open umbels of prickly steel-blue flowers, which are a favourite for cutting, fresh or dried. This unique dwarf strain is ideal for the front of a sunny border or in mixed containers. The short stems produce metallic-blue sprays that remain attractive for weeks. In time plants will spread to form a small patch. Easily divided in early spring. Tolerant of hot, dry sites, and soils high in salts. Attractive to butterflies.
