Viola Hederacea 9cm

Viola hederacea is a ground-covering plant that features lush foliage and pretty flowers. This Australian Violet produces green leaves that are held densely and spreads via runners that creep below the soil. The foliage is complemented with purple and white flowers, which are produced almost year-round. This herbaceous perennial grows to about 10 cm tall and will spread to 50 cm wide within two years. Viola hederacea is commonly included in borders, used as a groundcover, planted between pavers or rocks, added to cottage gardens, maintained in a container, or used as a lawn substitute.
