Rhododendron vireya 'Vanilla S 2.5L
Beautiful creamy clear open flowers with a dusting of pink speckles in the throat, deepening to creamy yellow in the base of the flower. Lightly scented. Very free flowering from a young age. Good strong growing shrub that forms a well rounded shape. New foliage has a bronzy hue, shading to dark green with age. Richard Currie hybrid. Height 1.2m.. Released in 2008. This highly rated hybrid is a 'Solar Flare' seedling raised by New Zealander Richard Currie.
