The Anthurium Crystallinum is a tropical houseplant distinguished by its large, velvety, heart-shaped dark green leaves highlighted with bold silver-white veins. Unlike many other anthuriums, it is grown primarily for its striking foliage rather than its flowers. It grows on long upright stems emerging from a compact root system and can reach up to 1 meter in height.
- Habitat: A tropical plant prefers warmer climates but is happy in average household temperatures.
- Light: Bright indirect light. Avoid direct light as this can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Drought tolerant, let dry out in between waterings.
- Fertiliser: Add a weak solution of liquid fertilizer two or three times during growing season.
